Omar Geneidy is an Egyptian Architect specialized in Digital Design and Robotic Fabrication.He currently works as a research and teaching assistant at the American University in Cairo (AUC). He also worked as a research and teaching assistant at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, (EPFL) Switzerland. He got his Masters in Robotics and Advanced Construction (MRAC) from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC), Spain in 2019. And finished his bachelor in Architecture Engineering at the British University in Egypt (BUE) in 2017 with a First-Class Honor, ranked second over his cohort. He Participated in 7 international workshops related to digital design and digital fabrication. And have worked on multiple projects involving the use of robots in architectural practice. He has published online courses in the field of computational design with more than 2,000 enrolled students on multiple platforms. And has organized workshops locally and internationally.
